2 Week Detox Guide
This detox guide started out as something I was personally going to do for myself to cleanse myself of toxins and feel rejuvenated, but I thought it would be a great idea to share this with y’all since so many of you guys have been asking me about what my cleansing cycles look like!
Why Detox?
It is a known fact that many of us carry toxic build ups in our bodies which needs to be detoxified so we can feel healthier. Detox/cleansing drinks are one of the best ways to cleanse the body of all the nasty toxins and waste that we carry around. This can lead to weight loss to some extent. Detoxing sets our organs free to function the way that they are meant to, this gives the immune system and our energy a boost, your body starts to absorb nutrients way better as well. Detox drinks also help us let go of the addictive grip and powers of sugar, hyper processed and hyper palatable food-like substances
Signs that you need to Detox:
- Frequent acne, dry skin, rashes or dull skin
- Frequent headaches/ migraines
- Frequent bloating, constipation or gassiness
- Difficulty concentrating or/and focusing
- Easily forgetful
- Feel sluggish in the morning regardless of good amount of sleep
- Rely on caffeine or energy drinks during the day for energy
- Anxiety or depression
- Joint pain
